Calpol was all that helped us. And he would only eat yogurt the poor soul

Oh bless his little heart 😢it’s been at our nursery too, thankfully my LG has been ok so far (touch wood) but weirdly I caught it! If it’s any consolation from experience it was up and over very very quickly. Hope your son feels better soon x

Oh bless him! I work in a nursery and they shouldn’t allow them in even if it’s policy 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s so contagious! Not much advice but try calpol for the irritation and sudocrem on the spots, I’ve also heard oat baths are good for soothing. I hope he feels better soon xx

A hospital told me to give my baby (11 months) ice cream, yogurt and apple juice. They said the baby needs the sugar to try fight the infection. It’s a horrible horrible sickness

My LB has this currently! The sores around his mouth and bum are so angry! 😢 we’ve been using sudocrem on his bum which seems to be helping. He’s been struggling to eat and drink with the blisters in his mouth though bless him 😢

My little one has just gotten over it then got conjunctivitis a couple days after so wonder if it's connected.
She got HFM quite bad and ended up on a fluid tube in A&E because her throat was so ulcerated. There is a throat spray you can get and this would have resolved it all, it numbs the throat so she would then have a bottle. I was told not to worry about food, fluids is what's important if they are struggling.
