When was everyone offered a sweep?

With my first born I had one at 39+1, had no complications, natural delivery.

Currently pregnant with baby #2, I have my midwife appointment on Friday, I’ll be 38+2. And desperately want baby out! I’m so uncomfy, have agonising rib pain, back ache. Been having really bad lightning crotch pain constantly. Hurts when baby kicks.

At my 36 week midwife appointment baby was measuring an estimated 6lb 6oz. And had was slightly engaged.

Iv been offered one on my due date x

I’m 40+1 today and had a check up today and they won’t offer me anything as I’m low risk, baby is engaged and we are both well currently. I’m ok with that as ideally I don’t want intervention. I thought people were only offered intervention for specific reasons, I’ve been quite shocked how many seem to be offered them from 38 weeks onwards!

I've been offered one on my due date which is Tuesday.

Offered one for the day after due date.

I was offered one from 38 weeks x

if you don’t mind me asking, did u have a normal pregnancy no risks x

I was offered one from 39 weeks but the only appointment they have is tomorrow when I will be 39+2 xx

Ive had mine today am 39 weeks

I had one today (midwife wasn't able to complete it though) at 38 + 3 got another one booked sat and one booked for next wed - i am classed as high risk on age and pre pregnancy weight but have had no complications in my pregnancy - down to be induced on my due date

Was offered one yesterday at my 38 week MW appointment but declined.

Had one today at 39 weeks due to a trauma after my first birth.

Getting offered one at my 39 weeks this Friday but declining as I’m being induced next week any how so don’t see the point xx

Each area is different, Derby have not long introduced the 39 week rule before that it would be term plus 7 x

I’ve been told I’m be offered one at my appointment next week where I’ll be 39+4 if she hasn’t budged by then, and another one after the weekend if still no sign of labour

I’m also 38+2 and seeing the midwife today! I’m being offered one today but because of my history and the consultants not wanting me to go overdue. From what I’ve seen it’s not always possible to do them this early but they definitely can. My consultant did say midwives often don’t like doing them at this point but hope you manage to get one! X

hope all goes okay for you! My appointment is at 1:30pm, fingers crossed they let me have one 🤞🏼 I’m struggling being heavily pregnant and running around after a 15 month old as well😅

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Fed up

Anyone else just feeling fed up in general? I just never feel happy anymore. Wake up dreading what the day ahead of us will be like.
Little one will be 6 week tomorrow

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?

32 weeks

32 week growth scan and clinic appointment. Did anything unusual happen? Ive heard a few people saying 32 weeks was when they had a induction date
