So my daughters daycare messaged me yesterday. There's a red mark on the back of her head. I was thinking it was her birth mark (stork bite) I got there and all they told me is that she can't come back until she has a doctor's note. It freaked me out..I called her doctor, everything should be fine until tomorrow just to monitor her, okay, can do. I call my best friend because we talk all the time, and she just starts telling me that it's COVID rash or rsv rash. It's definitely a rash. I get really scared because what if she doesn't wake up and I didn't take her to the doctor and I'm just spiraling. I take her to a walk in clinic and they don't see anyone under a year . They said I'd need to take her to a pediatric ER... okay I do.. 3 hours later... GUYS IT WAS RUG BURN... Picture for context..
I just hate that every little thing just scares the crap out of me.
I'm sorry I just needed to share. I know going to the ER was drastic.
Is anyone else still constantly worried about their baby? I still check if she's breathing.đ

Thank you â¤ď¸

First time mom worries are real. The fact that daycare told you that you needed a doctorâs note for that is ridiculous though.

Donât feel bad. I probably would have felt and done all the same things, esp with what transpired. Itâs the experience that will prob help you not spiral for next time.
