How is everyone feeling?.

How long do you have left? I'm really struggling with work, physically as I keep getting sciatica but also my boss is being a bit difficult and I just hate every second I'm there. Feeling like everyone thinks I'm a problem and I'm just desperate to not be there. We only get statutory maternity though so trying to work out what to do as financially we'll be very stuck x

Ive still got 12 weeks to go. Being sick still heart palpitations and all. But I. Thought what's the point of struggling m I just go back a bit earlier. Feeling mentally download. How long have u got Left xx

I work in a school and do a lot of walking/chasing students! I have 6 weeks left and I can’t wait 🙌🏻 I find that when I’ve been walking around for a bit my bump feels a bit heavy, does anyone else feel this? X

I am leaving work very early too…at 26w. Ive also been struggling !

Thankfully I’ve got 6 weeks annual leave to take first so that’ll technically means my mat leave starts at 32 weeks after annual leave x

I'm also considering leaving a bit early 🥴 I've been so stressed with work. It's not a physically challenging job and I'm not feeling sick, but I have this feeling that all this stress couldn't be good for the baby. The midwife says babies are used to some levels of stress but I can't shake off that I'm hurting her somehow 😮‍💨 I feel like if taking a few weeks off saves us a ton of pain and stress then it's probably worth it, especially given that we accumulate AL while we're away as well so we can go back gradually etc

Same here! I'm on sick at the moment and will be on sick until my maternity starts if I don't improve. Baby and health comes first. Since being on sick I've managed my exhaustion and symptoms so much better and I haven't had to start my mat early x

I started my maternity early at 27 weeks, im a bus driver and they took me off the buses a few weeks back and just put me in the office doing absolutely nothing because a female bus driver who is pregnant is very rare and they didn't have a clue as to what to do with me, I felt like they were treating me like a leper. I'm in a lot of pain as well, so sitting down doing nothing was actually more painful than driving a bus, so I decided to go early. Mine and babies health and my mental health comes first 👍x
