Nervous for first scan tomorrow

I have an early scan booked in for 8 weeks as I’m a high risk pregnancy. I have everything going through my head right now! I don’t have much in the way of symptoms and I dread the thought of a blighted ovum (would there realistically be symptoms for that already?). It’s honestly scaring me! Any advice or positive stories with similar (lack of) symptoms and worries?

I barely had any symptoms with my first and everything was great. Good luck, I am sure everything will be fine. ✨

Best of luck. I had a scan at 7 + 3, with no nausea and only a little indigestion and tiredness, and too was terrified of a blighted ovum....but it was all fine! Viable embryo with a good heartbeat. Try not to worry (easier said than done I know).I hope it goes really well x

I had my second reassurance scan on Friday at 8w 3d. I’d gotten myself in such a mess mentally the day before that when I did go and everything was fine I hardly looked at the screen and I’ve felt guilty ever since. My husband made a really good point in the car on the way there - he said I’m not thinking anything is wrong until I’m given reason to believe that. Also I’d had no symptoms for 4/5 days before and they were back a day after scan lol. Good luck! X
