My toddler is 19 months old and seems unhappy all the time.
- Has started hating nursery and refusing to eat there
- Screams and arches back when getting into the carseat, where ever we go, but is usually fine once in the seat
- Has full blown tantrums when doesnt get their way
- learnt to fake cry / whinge
- always wants to be held / doesn’t want to walk or play independently
Honestly it’s breaking my heart and testing my patience
Please tell me it’s a phase?!

My daughter has just got this phase, I’m hoping it passes soon. She’s been in childcare for 6 months but the last 2 weeks is refusing to go, not settling while she’s there. At home she screams if I’m out of sight. I can’t leave the room or leave her with anyone. She’s so emotional, it’s heartbreaking and really hard work. Just trying to remind myself that she’s not trying to give me a hard time, she’s having a hard time. Definitely testing my patience though xx

I could have wrote this myself. Everything you’ve listed my little girl does the exact same. It’s heart breaking and hard! I’m hoping it’s just a short phase they go through🥴xx
