16 week Antenatal

I had my 16 week antenatal appointment this morning and the midwife asked if I wanted to hear babies heartbeat..

Honestly the most magical feeling ever - especially as this point in pregnancy where you’re feeling more yourself.. and although I’ve felt little flutters of movement, it’s still easy to scare yourself that something might not be quite right 🙈

Gender scan on Saturday, so all becoming very real now 🥹

Aww! My 16 week midwife appt is next week (but I’ll be 17 weeks then) and I was wondering to expect. I felt my first flutter on Sunday and nothing really since. I’m so excited to hear baby’s heartbeat!
We are waiting to find out the gender and 20 weeks. Just in time for bonfire night and we plan to find out using fireworks 💥. Im so excited!!!

she basically just tested my wee, then spoke to me about breast feeding and the benefits and took my blood pressure. She then asked if I wanted to hear babies heartbeat - she said not everyone does it at 16 weeks, but she likes to do it as it helps you build your bond with the baby ect!

Ooh that’s exciting! We just wanna find out now so we can get organised.. I’m feeling so impatient 😂

I thought they would do a urine sample again - I just wish the pots were bigger 😅 I will definitely want to hear babies heartbeat!

my gosh I know! I actually bought urine cups so that I could pee in them and then pour into the pot 😂

C - section

Hello lovelies, I’m getting closer to my date of c section.

Can I ask how it all went for you? I felt prepared and now I have this awful feeling what if I bleed out! I’m sure that’s not the case. But I just wondered how it went, and how the aftermath was. I have seen on social media people say it’s horrendous but then I speak to friends and family and they’re like yeah it’s not easy but you can cope! You can walk, etc. I think it’s the unknown… lol!

Also were you all sick during your procedure and did you all get terrible trapped gas? If so what tips do you have xx

Has anyone started to plan out their first birthday yet lol I know it’s a little bit early but I like to plan ahead. I already have a theme picked out.

20 week anatomy scan for baby girl today 🥰💕🌷

This is a bit strange.. but hear me out

I am 36 weeks and 4 days today.
I had that feeling, you know when you are trying to take a tampon out on your end of period and it kind of hurts because the tampon is dry? I had that sensation today?

Now I feel like I have to push something about my vagina? It kinda tickles but uncomfortable. I’m not having any pains at all anywhere btw so can’t be baby ??

Hi mamas I have a problem, I have the implant in again, I had it in before was in for 6 years new rules now, not a single problem no periods nothing, got it re fitted this time I have been bleeding non stop noticed on Friday my arm was sore and was swollen I thought it was from work, turns out my implant has moved up my arm and it’s not producing the right hormones 🤢 I woke up yesterday to the bruising on my arm (picture inserted) the pain I am in is so bad, I am worried about having sex again due to getting pregnant 🤦‍♀️🙈 can someone help me, I am going to hospital tomorrow morning to see if they can help me I need this out 🙈🤔

We have an Elsie and we nickname her “Elsa” like queen elsa from frozen

If we have a girl my husband would love a spin on “anna” without actually calling her Anna lol
