My husband and I both caught it in August, and spoke with our doctors. Since we had mild cases and were able to stay home, they suggested that since our baby was already potentially/likely exposed, that I continue breastfeeding so that she could get antibodies and just mask up when around her. I'd imagine it's the same for formula, minus the antibodies. Our pediatrician also just advised that we monitor her for symptoms. Luckily, she didn't seem to show any. Sending you love!

Myself and my baby both caught covid when he was around 5months. We had a few rough days and nights but were fine. We managed it at home with lots of paracetamol, cuddles and rest. We took his temperature regularly. One tricky thing for us, was he couldn’t sleep on his back as his nose was blocked so we had to take it turns to hold him through the night. Baby recovered quickly but it took me a little longer as I was caring for him and couldn’t get as much rest as needed. Sending lots of positive healing vibes your way!

Hey! My family got it back in 2020 when my son was 3 mo he didn’t have any symptoms other than a slight fever and we were told to treat the symptoms with Tylenol. My ex and I got the worst symptoms he was in the hospital and I lost my hearing.
My current partner and my kids got it a week ago. My son had no symptoms and my new baby didn’t either but we still treated them with Tylenol just in case.
If you breastfeed continue that. If not if you’re able to get donor milk do that it’ll help a ton. Obviously you don’t have to but I’ve noticed it helps a ton too.

My entire household had it last month, even baby caught it. There really isn't anything you can do, since you're contagious well being testing positive/being symptomatic. Just do what you've always done and treat symptoms in baby when/if they arise.

how exactly did you know your baby had Covid besides a test? My son has been since for a week now and is so stuffy. The only thing that seems to kind of help is cold meds but nobody has done any testing on him. (He’s went to both ER and peds)
