Toddler doesn’t want to cuddle 😭
Anyone else’s 20 month old refuse to cuddle or snuggle? He’s just so much energy that he will only sit/lay with me for a min before wanting to go off and do something. He will sit and hang with his father in the am or while they’re watching football or something but Mom is kicked to the curb. I’m also 7 months pregnant with my second and my sister said he may have some issues with that. I’m happy he is independent and active, but I miss my little cuddle bug

Mine never liked cuddling, but I do not like to have things in me and very much love my space. Recently, my kiddo was sick and wanted to cuddle, and I actually kind of liked it. I wish he would do it a little more.
My 20 month old doesn't cuddle me anymore either, he went from being an attached at my hip baby to an independent toddler that's too cool for me now 😭
I ask my 20 month old for a kiss and 90% of the time he says no! Just gotta respect it, and savor it when he does wanna give me one the other 10%.
I usually let my little guy do his own thing. If he’s playing I’ll be on the floor most of the time playing with him or supervising. Sometimes he just runs over and jumps in my lap, gives me a hug and a short snuggle and goes back to playing.
