Cold sore ☹️

I’m less than 2 weeks from my due date and started to feel a little sensitive where I usually get cold sores. Low and behold a small sore is popping up and I’m devastated. I’ll get a prescription in the morning, but I’ll likely have it still when I give birth and won’t be able to kiss my baby. I’m so sad.

Did your ob prescribed u medication for it mines did at 36 weeks so I won't have a flare up when I'm delivering I'm now getting induced and patiently waiting to meet her

I get coldsores too and that is something that scares me :/ just make sure even after it goes away give it maybe a few extra days just to be safe before kissing your baby because it can be really bad if they get it

she gave me a script for an outbreak earlier in pregnancy with 3 refills just in case. Wish I had just kept a refill at home so I could have taken it first sign of tingle ☹️ I had to wait till the next morning.
