Current Covid advice
Anyone know what this new strain of Covid is like for pregnant women? My mum has just tested positive and I’m worried about how it will affect me at 24 weeks pregnant if I’ve caught it from her. Anyone had any experience?

I wouldn’t look to deep into it, you could of been in contact with so many people that have got it and not known. I’ve had it recently but I wouldn’t of known only that I work in a hospital and I was at the GP for my whooping cough jab, got tested and it came back positive🤣
Keep hydrated and speak to your midwife if you feel off x

I wouldn’t read to much into it relax if you have it there is nothing you can do and you could be fine
