I wake up every night at around midnight - 2am and I’m awake until 4 or 5. Someone tell me how to cure this insomnia. Also, during the time I’m awake I usually eat a banana or some toast. But when I wake up at 7, I’m vomiting stomach acid like my stomach is empty ☹️ help. It’s been every night of hardly any sleep and vomiting in the morning.
I’m 31 weeks.

I was waking up in the middle of the night to acid reflux, I was taking tums around the clock but it wasn’t helping. Dr told me to try Pepcid, you take it twice a day- I would ask your OB if Pepcid would be okay for you it’s been helping me as long as I stay on top of taking it. To my knowledge I believe you could pair it with tums for faster relief but again check with you Doctor!!!

unfortunately I’ve been on Pepcid for weeks and I’ve also tried Zantac 😭

Oh man :( are you on Zofran for nausea??? I had terrible vomiting the whole pregnancy up until half way thru my second trimester and I am continuing to take a combo of unisom and vitamin B6. If I stop taking it for more than a couple of days I’m back to vomiting my brains out. You could ask about those maybe

I just had a mental breakdown about this at my appt today. I was trying everything. Omeprezole worked well for me but package said to stop after 14 days. It's a long story but basically I got approved to take omperazole in the mornings, pepcid 20mg at pm, can add in the am if needed, tums no more than 4 times a day, and papaya enzyme after meals. I'm almost 33 weeks. Def. Check with your provider though. She also said Sit up for at least 2 hours after eating before laying down, lay down propped up, no drinking while eating, and wait 20 mins after eating to drink.
