Covid booster?

I’m almost 12 weeks and just had a message from my docs to book my autumn 2023 booster, I’ve not been offered a booster since dec 2021, it’s been 21 months since I’ve had one …. Not sure if I should or not? What are peoples views on it? I’m suffering bad with the pregnancy as it is I don’t want a reaction and make me feel even worse!

I personally don’t want any more covid jabs, I will get a flu jab when offered

I will definitely be taking up the offer. Catching covid would be far worse than the side effects of the jab.

I’m not having the Covid Booster, I’ve had all 3 previously and I’ve also had Covid prior to having the Vaccine and see no reason to have it again and I also won’t be having the Flu Jab x

I’ve had none and won’t be having any during my pregnancy x

I will have flu as I work in care but personally will not be having covid booster. My last was in 2021 and have had covid 3 times since then x

I’ve booked a booster and flu jab for in a couple of weeks. There’s no evidence that any of these vaccines will cause harm. I’m just more concerned if I do get flu or Covid what the effects would be! I’m high risk too so not taking any chances x

It's a contagious new strain and very mutated from previous forms. I'm 12 weeks and will 100% be getting this and flu jab as soon as I'm offered. I had both jabs, had COVID last year but still better safe than sorry I think!

I had Covid and flu jabs same day this week (I’m 9w). I felt fine just a sore arm for about 24 hours. The guidance says it’s safe and strongly recommended given weakened immune system when pregnant. You don’t have to wait to be invited, you can book online if pregnant: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/covid-19-services/covid-19-vaccination-services/book-covid-19-vaccination/

I had covid in 2020 and 2021. I was rough with it. I’ve had 2 vaccines in 2021 during my first pregnancy and then the booster just after my little boy was born. I then got covid a month later and was absolutely fine, just tired! The vaccines helped. I’ve just had my booster and today I’m feeling ill from the side effects but nothing compared to when I had it. I will also be having the flu vaccine when I can.

I was told to get covid, flu and whooping cough by the midwife. I have asthma so normally get covid and flu anyway and covid was awful when I had it so definitely don’t want that on top of pregnancy symptoms and kick starting anxiety
