My lactation consultant says you base the amount off their weight. So if the baby weighs 8lbs they should get 80mls per feed. When they hit 9 they get 90 MLS. 10 = 100mls etc...

Mine is currently doing 100-120mls every 2-3 hrs. She lost weight due to me breastfeeding exclusively but we did 2 bottles of formula to get her weight up and I think the formula is thicker but now I'm back to breastfeeding and i had to increase the amout to 120mls . She is currently 1 week and 3days. The doc said she is a week ahead of schedule.

My little guy will be 2 weeks old tomorrow. He drinks 2oz and usually goes to sleep after but sometimes he does 3-4oz at a time.

My almost 2 week old cluster feeds anywhere from 2 to 4 oz. She just finished 6oz within an hour and a half span

We took him to his newborn appt and told the doctor how much he's eating and his advice was to feed him when he wants to eat. My son was 7lbs 14oz when he was born, left the hospital at 7lbs 8oz and at the doctor's, he was up to 8lbs 5oz. The doctor was happy with those numbers. Not sure if I'm overfeeding though. That's a thought to keep in the back of my mind though. If we feed him any less than 3.75oz, he's hungry and cranky A LOT sooner than 3-4 hours. More like an hour later and he's rooting for more milk. I'm also starting to feed him more breastmilk as my supply increases and less of formula, so I'm not sure if that's also something to take into consideration.

If baby isn't spitting it up then you should be fine.

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!
