Has anyone had a “micro” wedding?

How much did it cost? What did you do? What was the cake like? For anyone that’s confused, micro wedding is basically a tiny wedding usually consisting of 10 people

We're having one with 8 people including myself and my partner. It is probably costing about £1000 but like 60% of that is afternoon tea at some fancy hotel 😂 the rest is registry fees and the notice of marriage cost. We're not doing cake but that is usually like 60/80£ depending on what you go for. It really is depending on what you're looking to get from it! It can be as cheap or expensive as you plan it to be

We got married just the two of us, it still cost £3-3.5K including everything - travel, hotel, photographer, legal arrangements abroad, my dress, his suit, flowers etc... Both of us are happy we spent the money on ourselves. Included in that is £500 for the photographer which my mother generously paid for. We stayed in a fancy hotel, had dinner there in the restaurant afterwards. We didn't have a cake there wasn't much point. We got married during covid, and could only have 3 days off work together for it. It really shows how generous family and friends are when you elope.

Ours is with 30 people, and same for after do.

Ours has cost 375 for wedding at Registry office, and 1500 including food for after do at a local community hall.
