Exactly the same! I've had it ever since being in the third trimester 😭
I find having a bath before bed eases it or trying to get a massage 🤣 x

drink tonic water! x

My midwife suggested bananas, dried apricots and plenty of fluids throughout the day.
As soon as you feel it coming on bend your foot as if you're standing on them! I think tonic is an old wives tale unfortunately.
I've had them bad since 2nd tri as I'm on my feet all day at work and they don't seem to come at all when I've had at least 1 banana and a load of apricots 🤷🏼‍♀️

Magnesium oil spray! It’s amazing, or get magnesium flakes to put in the bath. Also make sure you’re drinking plenty of water :)

I second Emily with the magnesium oil spray! It done me wonders. I just got one from Amazon and rub it on my calves before bed, haven’t had the cramp since x

Has anyone started to plan out their first birthday yet lol I know it’s a little bit early but I like to plan ahead. I already have a theme picked out.

😂😂I am thinking about Sesame Street and Toy story as a theme

How many of you had your c sections rescheduled?

So I'm choosing to have a c section this time around because I had an emergency c section after being induced last time. That was less than 2 years ago so I don't think it's a good idea to try again. I'm really nervous it's gonna be rescheduled bcs I have my sister taking time off work to help me out with the baby in the hospital since my husband will have to go home to be with our toddler at night. Also my husband starts his leave on that day so I don't want him to lose any more days. So I'm just wondering how common this is. I'm in the US in NJ

C Section Date

I’m 37 weeks and I’m due on 6th April. I’m having an elective c section and haven’t been given my date yet, is anyone else in this situation? X

How many of you feel like you've aged rapidly since having kids?

I am feeling pretty bummed because lately I've been noticing just how much I've aged in the last few years since having my first kid. Even just in the last year and a half since having my second. My skin looks terrible, has more wrinkles, and somehow looks both dry and oily at the same time. My posture is horrible and my boobs are like a couple of massive fried eggs. I feel like I went from girlhood to bog witch just so fast. I know that it's my own fault for having kiddos so close together with no family around to support. I don't take care of myself like I should. But lawd HOW on earth am I supposed to find the energy? And what even is a pregnancy friendly skincare routine supposed to look like? I only ever needed to shower every other day and maybe wash my face once or twice a week to look good. Now something has changed and I look like hot garbage on a stick the next day after a good shower. Anybody else? Is this just motherhood in our 30's?

Unwell after sweep

I’ve had a sweep earlier today, lost the mucus plug about a couple hours later. Got period type cramping immediately, I hadn’t even left the midwife appointment yet. I have contractions and permanent back cramping, alongside waves of nausea - which is a combination I’m struggling with as I feel quite unwell. Nowhere near labour, as I’ve had 6 contractions in the span of 3 hours or so. A midwife told me sweeps cause really bad cramping, so I assumed it was normal. But just want to check if there’s anybody out there in a similar boat? Should I be calling the hospital to check if it’s all normal?
