I knew it had to happen and it’d be hard but I had no idea how hard it would actually be to see your baby sick for the very first time. In the middle of the night two nights ago, after being extra fussy all day her temp spiked to 101.8 and she started screaming. After giving her some tylenol, we decided to head to the er and on our way she began vomiting in her car seat and choking which was terrifying. We stopped half way to the hospital to get her out of her car seat to stop her from choking. I was yelling at her dad to call 911 but he was able to get it under control. We finally got the hospital where they tested her for COVID, the flu, and RSV. Test came back positive for one of those. We’ve been giving her medicine and taking care of her. It’s so hard seeing her so upset and not like herself. She wants to be happy so bad but you can tell she just feels absolutely terrible. I try to be strong for her but any time she cries, I cry. All she wants is to be with me and her daddy. Hoping and praying she gets better soon. My heart can’t take her being so sick 😔

Aww im sorry to hear about your babygirl not feeling well😔 I know its so so scary. My girl got sick last month and it was pretty scary and stressful. I made sure to rub baby vicks on her chest, back, and on the bottom of her feet and covered them with socks. I also stood in the shower while holding her for the steam the soak up some congestion. I also used a vapor bath soak and kept her humidifier going throughout the day and night. She was back to her happy self quickly and so was I. I added a photo of the vapor bath soak that I used. I hope she feels better. You're doing great!

Thank you! We got a humidifier if vicks vapor in it and that seems to be good for her. I’ll definitely try some of that vapor oil on her feet and chest too.
