Prepping for pregnancy/motherhood

What would be the top 3-5 things you’d have wanted to do/get sorted before getting pregnant/becoming a mother? (I’m sure this has been asked/answered before!) Bit of background: I’ll be starting IVF treatment in November to stop passing on a hereditary genetic disease. (Amazing what they can do these days!) I’m following the supplements and guidance from It Starts With The Egg, doing yoga, walking and acupuncture regularly so feel as though I’m prepared in that area. But keen to hear from mothers on the advice they’d have wanted before pregnancy/motherhood.

1. Spend time with your partner doing the things you like - don’t postpone that trip or activity till after. Things will never be the same again to spend the time as a two 2. Don’t buy too many clothes - my LG is 6 months old and has worn 1/3 of what I bought lol 3. Enjoy you time - get a pedi, read that book, take that walk. Once you are pregnant and that first few months - you’re never alone again

@Roberta thank you Roberta! Number 2 is good to know!
