Pls Help tired mama lol

Help!! My child is 6 months and barely sleeps through the night! I’m to my wits end. Extremely exhausted. Nothing seems to work and I’m to the point where I’m discouraged and burnt out. My son is fully breastfed but I’ve been giving him oatmeal before bedtime to try to fill his stomach. We have a bedtime routine. He wakes up like every 2 hours wanting to be held or fed. He won’t let me lay him down. I’ve tried the cry it out method but it’s difficult and our doctor told us he shouldn’t cry for longer than 30 min and he does unless I hold him. He sleeps in a weighted sleep sack that’s supposed to help and doesn’t. Any suggestions or tips?

My little boy has slept through the night for the last week or so and I think it’s because I’ve started doing the same thing every night. Last bottle feed around 8/8.30. Then a little interaction with me and his Dad on the sofa. Then I change his nappy about 9.30pm, pop him in his sleeping bag, give him his dummy and then turn on Ewen the Sheep. This seems to work for us and I think these all act as cues for him to know that it’s sleeptime. Hope this helps x

I know it’s hard, I’m in the same boat myself but it is developmentally normal for your son to not sleep through the night at his age. The only thing that saves me is that I cosleep with my daughter so we both fall back to sleep while she’s feeding in the side lying position. I had two really good nights where she only woke up once through the whole night last week and then she’s been waking up 4-6 times a night since then 🤷‍♀️
