I don’t think you should be worried, both tests confirm that you’re pregnant.
@Ashley these are both FMU but maybe I did have more water throughout the night
@Raagan my doctor won’t see me until October 12): I tried to ask my primary but she is on maternity leave
@Shelby ironic lol
It takes a couple of days for any hcg progression when I first tested positive. I tested once a week, and there was a big difference between the first two weeks. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
@Shelby maybe they can call the test into a Quest? That's what my doctor did. Or maybe go to planned Parenthood? I think you can technically pay for the test out of pocket at a quest as well
In times like this I speed to the ER to have them help me out they will draw blood then test your HCG levels to make sure everything is progressing as it should as long as you have your insurance your good to go ! Congratulations 🎉
@Niecey I wouldn’t go to the ER unless there’s an emergency.
If no other place is open it’s convenient for your mental … as the mental is very powerful could drive yourself insane worrying I suffer for anxiety so I’ll go anytime to make sure my little one is okay no amount of meds will help with that for me it’s just a suggestion @Martha
Ok, I just think there are other ways to get labs drawn that bypass going to the ER, Quest or urgent care are good for that! But if you’re concerned about something serious then it totally makes sense @Niecey
That’s fine just gave a suggestion not that’s serious ☺️ @Martha
@Martha if you are pregnant and worried there's never a reason to not get checked out. Er or not. @Shelby don't trust line progression alone unless the lines are clearly getting lighter. It can take several days for the lines to darken as hcg builds in your system. Having labs done for hcg is the only clear coat way to ensure those numbers are rising as they should. Give a call to your doctor. Even your family doctor can order them. Every 48 hours they should double until you hit a certain number and then every 72 hours it should do the same. My first pregnancy my lines never got darker than yours and my numbers were sky high Every time they were checked, more than doubling. Same with this pregnany.
Thank you everyone for the comments and reassurance! I suppose I was just super hydrated (I have a 40oz cup by my bed). Last night I hardly drank any and this mornings test was VERY dark. I think I’m getting to the point where I won’t be able to test anymore because idk how much darker the test line can get and how much more faint the control like can get😅
I'd stop going off the tests and see if your Dr can order an HCG series. My strip tests never got any darker and my HCG levels are rising correctly. I'm also 5wk4d!
