I know I'll get over it so no one needs to tell me that, but I found out the gender and I'm sad about it. How long did it take you to get over gender disappointment?

It's a natural thing to have gender disappointment, I did with my second and the feelings dimmed but didn't fully go until I gave birth and now I couldn't even imagine or want anything else x

With my 3rd (3rd boy) it took me a few weeks. But like above it fully went away after I held my baby.

It’s natural, when I was pregnant I was convinced it was a boy, had a boys name everything then came out pink. I was happy but also emotional as I was so convinced I was having a son. But now I love my daughter and wouldn’t change it for the world x

Honestly I recently found out I'm having my second boy and I was so upset. I had a breakdown and I was saying how much I wanted to give him away as I didn't want another boy and I was hoping for a girl. My friends gave me a massive kick up the ass. I still wasn't that happy and I did think about having a late term abortion too. My thoughts were dark and I was pretending I was okay. However on Thursday I finally came up with a name for him that I loved and goes well with my first son who has a biblical name and it clicked that I'm going to be a mummy to two amazing boys and that made me happy.
