We just transitioned from formula to whole milk. I am used to carrying formula in her diaper bag and not needing to have it in the fridge. How do you carry whole milk with you? Just carry in an insulated thermos? What do you have or use? Appreciate all help!! ❤️❤️❤️

Wow this is a great question I don’t have the answer to - we’re in the midst of a transition ourselves right now - but I would think you can buy it out pretty easily in most places? (Gas stations, restaurants etc always have it)

This is a great question lol following to see if anyone had an answer!

Great question! I also want to know the answer to this. There's days on the weekends where we are out and about a majority of the day. I'm so used to the convenience of powder formula.

I put some in a bottle and then in a ice pack to keep it cold until she uses it.

We are about to transition to milk as well and sometimes we are out all day and into the evening with a pack and play at a friend's. We planned on using a thermos!

I don’t take milk with me when I go out but tbh I don’t really worry about it if it’s not like hot in the car baking I don’t really worry about it 🥴 also when you go like to lunch and stuff even though the milk isn’t whole milk your baby will most likely be fine because formula has milk in it already like skim milk or something if u look at the ingredients the first ingredient is milk so they’re already used to having it. I’ve given my son 1%,2%, whole milk and never had an issue 😊

Also I started giving both of my kids milk at 10 months and when I told their doc they didn’t mind my kids also started foods at 4 months too 😊

You could use a thermos but it’s probably not necessary, milk is so common you’re likely to be able to find it no matter where you go. Need to run to the store? There will be milk. Family dinner at a restaurant? They will have milk. Long road trip? A gas station or rest stop will sell you milk. I recommend Yeti or my personal favorite, Contigo brand for trips to park/beach/hikes/etc.
