I’m currently positive, feel like absolute crap, coughing non stop and struggling to sleep. I’m just taking paracetamol as I’m not sure what else to take.

Just make sure you rest up!! If you’re worried or notice changes in movements or how you’re feeling all together ring your midwife!

It is doing its rounds again unfortunately!

I’m just also absolutely petrified in case some social distancing comes back into place as Covid is getting about again, and the hospital don’t allow anyone in with you when delivering 😭😭

Yes I’ve had it this week - felt quite unwell but the midwife wasn’t concerned. Just said to rest lots and to keep hydrated 😊 look after yourself and feel better soon x

I had it when I was 8 months with my first, it did knock me a bit but I just rested, plenty of fluids and did as little as possible for a week and I was fine x

I don’t think this will happen. The government know the UK wouldn’t follow the rules anyway now due to partygate and covid is no more common than flu and colds etc so don’t worry everything will be okay and you’ll be able to have your birthing partner present as planned. I have a cold at the moment. Could be covid but I’ve not tested. My husband has covid a few weeks ago but I didn’t get it then.

My friend had it at 34 weeks with her last baby and everything was fine ☺️ lots of rest, fluids and paracetamol 🩷 x
