Would it be wrong to have a baby shower?

Girl, NO! A shower is a baby celebration. You go and you have that shower & invite people you know will celebrate that little baby boy with you!! :D Congrats!!

@Lisa yeah I'm not due until March so the earliest I'd have it would be end of January or early February. Was just trying to get others perspective if it was ok to have a shower considering this is my 4th baby but 1st boy.

@Lisa still have all the big stuff and it's gender neutral so that's a plus. So all well need is clothes, diapers and wipes. I would host it myself. Nobody has ever done it for us. For my 1st my dad hosted since we did it out of state but my gusband and I did everything else.

not at all wrong. I agree a shower is to celebrate baby and every baby should be celebrated no matter what number but also its your first boy so yes celebrate

@Lisa for my 1st we made all the decorations ourselves and used for the out of state shower and local shower lol. For my 2nd we didn't have a shower since that was covid times lol. For my 3rd we did at our house as well and I did bare minimum for decorations as it was a super simple shower. And we did all the cooking as well. So if we do decide to have a shower which I think we will. It'll be at our house again BUT I'll have 3 extra set of hands! As my mom and 2 nieces (almost teenagers) should be living with us by then. And I love cooking and baking for others and so does my mom. So it would be fun to get to share this with her as well!

@Lisa so I've even saved all my bottles lol. And just get new nipples each time around lol. If the nipple can be replaced I saved it lol. I just revealed the gender to my cousins and aunt this AM on zoom because all my kids all have colds right now lol

@Stephanie that's how I feel too. Especially in my situation. I was told for almost 10 years I'd never be able to have kids. So to be able to have 3 healthy babies already and so far so good healthy baby 4 on the way is a huge reason in my mind to celebrate.

@Lisa this will be the 1st time in over 4 years I've ever had any help besides my husband. He's amazing but he can't multi task lol. So it will be an adjustment for sure!
