4dp5dt - any one else in the same boat?

Hi , I’m so sorry for everything you’ve been through, it’s heartbreaking. I’m also 4dp5dt - my 4th transfer and second FET. I think the problem is that pregnancy symptoms are exactly the same as the side effects from all the hormones, so I think it’s too early to say, sadly…

Hi Jen thanks for your reply. I 100% agree the hormones are always so confusing. I’ve never felt this sore around the boob area which made me ask the question about the difference between the two progesterone pessaries. When is your OTD and are you testing early? Sending you baby dust x

I have only been on cyclogest, and haven’t really had sore boobs (had two BFNs and one chemical), so am not too sure.

My OTD is 11th Oct, and I’m definitely testing early. This helped me to identify a chemical on my previous cycle (testing early and seeing the line fading), so I’ll be doing the same again. What about you? x

Oh wow that’s late, my OTD is 7th Oct. was yours a fresh or frozen transfer? Uummm I’m not sure if I’ll test early! I’ve only ever tested early once and the BFN broke me. I’m not sure if it’s worse knowing it hasn’t worked or living a few days longer is ignorant bliss. How many days after transfer do you usually test?

Oh really, that’s interesting. Mine was an FET, and at my clinic (Care) it’s always been 14-16 days after the transfer. I’ll probably test from Thursday or Friday this week, so 9 or 10dp5dt.

How strange. With a FET my clinic usually say 11 days. Think I’ll test fri! Have you any symptoms that your tracking, PG or AF or otherwise? X

I’ve had a few symptoms (cramps, heavy feeling in lower abdomen, sore boobs), but don’t want to read too much into it, as could definitely be the meds. Also, my problem doesn’t seem to be getting pregnant, but staying pregnant, so a positive doesn’t necessarily mean anything for me, so it’s definitely lost any excitement or meaning for me.

What about you, have any of your initial symptoms changed?

Have you got any more symptoms now ? Are you testing tomorrow?

I tested today… it was negative 😭. How about you? Xx

I’m so sorry to hear that 😔 I tested positive, but the tests are fading, so having a blood test at the clinic, as it may be another chemical 😢 x

Oh Jen - I’m praying it’s not. I really do hope the blood test shows everything is ok, I’ll be thinking of you. This journey is so horrific isn’t it. I honestly don’t know how we navigate it some times xxx
