Twins!!!

I had my first ultrasound today, and I’m having twins! We haven’t had twins in my family for several generations, so I never thought it was possible, but it’s happening!! We tried for a year and a half to get pregnant, and now we’re double blessed! I’m still in complete shock.

Yay me too di/di twins! How far are you? Did they say what kind?

Congrats, I wish you the best of luck! Your babies appear to be identical - two sacs one placenta from what I can tell of your scan aka Mo/Di. Identical twins are not a genetic or passed down thing...just a natural fluke. My best advise is get a referral to a perintologist asap. Also, learn as much as you can, an identical twin pregnancy is very different from a singleton.
