Yep- in same situation but nobody is that bothered as I know they’ll all meet when they can. Issue is everyone lives in separate countries/ continents! Haha x
My family have never met my partners, its not a big deal to us - we've met each others family, get along well and that's all that matters to us!
Our families are quite split around so its hard to get everyone together with different schedules and travelling, so we're not having a gender reveal or baby shower either - we are celebrating with an announcement but it will be online and that's that really.
Sucks a bit when you see others plan events and get together to celebrate, but I don't think that was ever in the cards for us personally, so it's not too much of a big deal that we're not doing any of it!
My mum and partners mum have met once by accident at the hair dressers 😂 but we’ve never all had like a family gathering from both sides in the 6 years we’ve been together 😂 obviously we see both families just not all at once. Think it’s pretty common tbf x
