Early Mat leave

I'm taking mat leave 6-7weeks before due date for same reason!

Yep!! My 11 weeks takes me to 3 days before Chrimbo!! Get me out of there 💃

I would love to as I’ve got a pretty long commute! Right now I’m feeling absolutely fine, but getting a bit worried about how I’ll manage further down the line… it’s just money that worries me and makes me want to go as far to the due date as I can 😬 any one else seriously worried about ££??

Yer id love to finish earlier but I can only have 9m off because I can’t afford to be off unpaid once mat pay ends and want as much time with baby as possible so trying to use holiday at the end of pregnancy so I can stay until 2w before due date xx

I think I will do the opposite. I am taking off 6 months then my partner will take 6 months leave. So I want to start maternity as late as possible so I can have more of my time off once the baby is here. X

me too, it’s my second and have a busy job so no time to sort nursery/ organising out before baby comes while I work. So I’m using the time as a mental break prior and to get things ready without the stress or pressure of doing it while working. Xx

me either, I felt fine with my first however I was 10years younger! Sleeping 13 hours and still being sick still at 15 weeks 2 days. Totally different pregnancy. Xxx

Im going off on the 1st of march baby due the 16th but this way i don’t have to go back till after Christmas.
