Movement at 19 weeks
Hi all! I felt the first movement that I was sure was baby on Sunday evening (19 weeks) - felt like little bubbles (but different to gas!) and also like a light tapping from inside. So nice to feel this ☺️
But since then I’ve not really felt anything that I can be sure was baby moving, is this normal at this early stage? I know movement can be sporadic and not a set pattern at this point but wondering if quite clear movement and then nothing is ok or if I should call the midwife.

Call your midwife just for peace of mind but when I was 19 weeks it wasn't often I felt him moving and kicking stoll at 21 weeks it's not all the time I do have anterior placenta tho x
I'm 20 weeks today and just last night a saw my baby kick for the first time I'd been feeling it kick for a couple of weeks but I saw it for the first time last night and it looked Soo wired lol maybe try drinking some lucazade or somthing nice and spicy that my wake it up an give you a kick. 😊 x
I felt lots of movements around 16 weeks, then nothing around 18 weeks and panicked. Midwife and hospital were not worried but offered me to go in and hear baby’s heartbeat, she was all fine. They said she could have just moved position. Now at 19+6 and have felt her again the past few days. I think it’s normal at this early stage but I do get the panic! Xx
Thanks everyone, I’m trying not to obsess about it but it’s so hard when I’m not sure what to expect- this is my first.
Might call the midwife just for peace of mind but sounds like it’s fairly normal for it to be a bit off and on at this stage 😊
At 19 weeks I wasn’t feeling movement every day, usually every two or three days and sometimes only one movement a day 😊
