My baby has covid 😭

There’s not really anything else you can do beside Calpol and making sure they stay hydrated. My little boy has just gotten over it. He had a fever for two days and didn’t touch solids for two/three days which is so unlike him as he loves his food! We just made sure to offer extra bottles and water, and let him sleep as much as he needed. He got over it a lot easier than we did!

My eldest had it when he was 5 months and it was just about lots of calpol and cuddles. But I totally understand what you mean about feeling helpless when they’re poorly 😞 she’ll be feeling better soon. Make sure you’re looking after yourself too. X

It's hard, she can't feed b3cauae she's so stuffy, I've been dosing her up on Medstead, water, tried her on full.fat milk from a bottle and she turned her nose up at it 🤣 she's up all night crying and cries all day, I'm completely exhausted so I can onl6 imagine how she's feeling, finger cross we all get over it at the same time as my son got sent home school and now symptoms are now full on, so we're just all stuck in the house ATM, feel like I'm going mad, I'm trying to look after myself but being a single parent to three kids is hard when they're all ill l, never realised how.tiugh mums are tbh 🤣 xx

Calpol nasal drops work amazing for blocked noses! Also Vicks works wonders too. I didn’t bother with baby Vicks as it barely has any smell but normal Vicks rubbed on her chest and bottoms of her feet with socks or a babygrow on helped my little girl a lot! X
