Do I get another scan?

I haven’t had a scan since 20 weeks as there hasn’t been any need. Do I get another one nearer the end or is this just it now if there’s no complications?

Within the NHS they don’t offer scans after 20 weeks if there’s no risks identified. It’s just ongoing support and appointments through your midwife x

Thanks! How will they know which way up he is nearer the time? Feeling him?

Check with your hospital. A lot of hospitals do offer a routine scan around 36 weeks, people that don’t get it just think nobody gets one though so will always tell you there’s nothing after 20 weeks x

I thought that was it too, just 2, but recently been sent an appointment for one at 36weeks. Ask your midwife.

Check with your hospital but I get another between 35-37 weeks x

Think of it as a good thing. I’ve had to have an extra 4 so far including an internal scan 🫣 for multiple diff things like my placenta position, growth & baby being breach. It’s so tiring sitting in the hospital waiting about but at the same time I’m happy they’re checking she’s ok. If you’re ever worried just phone triage or book in for a quick private scan for your own peace of mind x

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?
