I just recently started to introduce formula along side breastfeeding. I understand how things work for breast milk but not so much for formula.
My baby went into deep sleep before I could give him formula. So what should I do with the bottle now? Am I allowed to keep it room temp? Or do I need to pop it into the fridge and reheat again for when he wakes up?

Meant to use it within 2 hours if not been touched, if your lo has drank out it but not all then can keep it for an hour x

Can definitely be put into fridge. Lasts 24 hours while in fridge and can be warmed back up. Bottles at room temp are good for 1 hour. They have milk in them so treat it like a glass of milk
Thank you! I know he’s gonna end up having a long nap so ill pop it in the fridge 😊

You... Feed it to them? Why is it an issue that baby is asleep?? My son slept through night feeds for 7 months straight

how do you feed a sleeping baby🤣 even for night feeds they are somewhat awake

you just hold them and lightly bounce the nipple/teat on their bottom lip until they open and latch 🤷♀️ tbf my son was an easy baby

if my LO is asleep you can't get her to do anything! Shes fell asleep on the bottle before and trying to wake her up to finish is impossible!! Teach me your ways!! 🤣

I used to walk and hum or sing quietly while feeding him to keep myself awake, maybe the movement and noise kept him slightly more conscious?? That's the only thing I can think of lol
