2 weeks pp weight loss??

This is silly of me I know, but I have been trying to fit in my jeans and I am really upset that I cannot yet get into them and I feel like I’ve gained so much in pregancy that it’s going to be hard to get off , I had a c section so I can’t excercise yet 😚

Had an emergency c-section and I don’t fit into my mom jeans at all and my little one turns 2 in Feb. But good news I do fit into my stretchy skinny jeans it took few months tho but you can get there. It’s hard since we can’t even use the belt after birth so it takes time but girl don’t worry about it, it’s only a size x

9 months to grow a baby, give yourself 9 months to get back to 'you'

Just a head up breastfeeding and pumping out milk can help you drop an immense amount of weight pp

not always the case. It can cause weight to plateau more as you can take from your own fat and mineral stores to make milk for baby. This is a huge misconception and causes a lot of struggle for breastfeeding moms

2 weeks is super early into PP. The womb takes 6 weeks to contract back to normal then it can take up to 2 years to heal Internally from csec. Don't put so much pressure onto yourself it takes more than a few weeks to feel like yourself again. When you're ready you can think about small things like getting in walking and eating well but I wouldn't worry yet as your body physically has not made your womb back to it's pre baby size yet so it would be impossible (this has been the advice ive got from PTs and research)

I just know that I lost 60 lbs after giving birth so that's my experience. She's also only 2 weeks pp so if she gets out more milk she could possibly drop the weight before the plateau point hits. From what I've heard from a lot of moms it hits at about 6-8 weeks and you have to make sure you diet correctly and continue to take in your non processed and healthy foods (fruits and veggies) alongside continuing your prenatal vitamins so that your body isn't going through too much change.

Your body creates soft and hard fats while you are pregnant so that it can insure that you have stored fats for your breast milk in case you are not consuming enough in your diet. Hard fats only go away from working out but soft fats are dissolved into your breast milk. To be frank, we are created as power houses and milk machines pp. As soon as your cleared for the c section the next step is to ensure your stomach muscles are closed and you no longer have diastasis recti (abdominal separation). And if you no longer have it and are fully cleared your transformation begins but you should take it easy.😊

You’ve just had a baby, give yourself time to heal and enjoy being mummy. Embrace the body that protected and cared for your baby for 9 months. I’m 4 months pp (C section) and just getting back in to running, swimming etc. 😊

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you

Random one!

My 5 month old has only ever had tears from one eye the other has never had a single tear, it doesn't look red gunky or anything just never had a tear?
Is this anything to worry about ? I did ask the doctor while she was younger but it's still going on!
