Parent’s Evening

My toddler has his first parent’s evening, and it is a first for me.
I am feeling quite anxious, and to add I am the primary carer of our son, as his father is having supervised contact.
Are there any particular questions I should ask?
I feel nervous as it feels like I am carrying lots of weight, with this being massive positive for my son, I’m worried I will be judged and feel weird about doing it alone if this message makes any sense.

My daughter has had parents evenings at nursery since she was 1. It is nothing to be worried about. Have you received an assessment on his progress from nursery? I would base my questions on that. What you can do to improve certain things, what are his next steps at nursery. Are there any friends he has at nursery? Is there any feedback you want to give on the nursery. Things you have found difficult, what they can improve on. Remember it is a two way process. What activities are the nursery doing in the coming months is another question you may ask. Is there anything the nursery needs to be aware of? Take it all as a positive.
