I can’t help with advice as also a first time mum so sort of winging it right now. All I can say maybe try and find some people from here from around your area that might be able to offer support? Your friendship group will naturally change now anyway as you’ll have different interests and priorities. If you ever wanted to chat or ask anything, I can do my best to answer. Try and stay positive and try and find new connections so you don’t feel as lonely. Don’t be too hard on yourself, your body is doing some weird and wonderful things right now and it’s a lot. Stay strong. You got this 👌🏽

Having a baby is hard, and we all struggle at the beginning no matter what age. You’re learning a whole new skill under extreme tiredness whilst your hormones are adjusting.
My advice is just to take each day as it comes, it’s a huge adjustment but you will get through it and eventually you will see your life has changed for the better!

When the baby arrives, try to get out to baby groups to meet other mums. Most of us are in the same position where friends don’t have kids and you’ll find support in a new group of friends that can relate.

And finally, join some antenatal classes. It’s really important you understand your choices around your birth and are confident to tell doctors and nurses what YOU want. I have a feeling because of your age, you will need to speak even louder. If you can afford the NCT courses then you’ll make friends too. Or Bump and Baby online courses are supposed to be good.
