Are there any blisters on the hands and feet? My boys just getting over hand foot and mouth and he was unwell, temperature, sore throat etc then got a rash.
None of our prescribed creams for his eczema have gotten rid of it and we've just kept him moisturized (apparently it effects them worse if they have eczema / sensitive skin) and used Calpol and ibuprofen.
When it seemed real itchy we used piriton as well xx

I did think this but it doesn’t seem to be blisters jsut skin coloured bumps on hands and feet and doesn’t look like when my other child had it I was then thinking wonder if it’s a rash from a viral as you can get them when virus leaves the body. But then again it’s really itchy for her she constantly rubbing it and smacking herself on the head and face 🙈 but I don’t won’t to waste drs time back at the walk in centre x

Rash is just part of the virus it should go away on its own xx

@Sophie, if it's viral it shouldn't be itchy I don't think. How long has she had it?

could it be scarlet fever? It's doing the rounds xx

she had it for two weeks same as her cough and both are just getting worse to the stage she throwing up coughing. No cream helping the rash x

@Sophie, it's unlikely it's the viral rash you get at the end of an illness then.

I would take her back to the doctor or to the hospital and demand tests; swabs, blood tests etc

I hope you get answers and that she feels better soon x
