I am currently day 19 in my cycle and usually ovulate around day 14. I’ve had high fertility (flashing smiley on early clear blue ovulation tests) for 6 days now. Usually this would only be flashing for 2-3 days and then peak for a day, but peak still hasn’t arrived. I’ve followed the instructions of minimising liquids for 4 hours and testing after 12pm each day.
My cycle is always regular and usually 30 days. I’ve been TTC for a year and a half and this is the first time I haven’t seen a peak reading.
Could this be an anovulatory cycle or is it likely I’m still going to peak?!
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and then had a positive pregnancy test?

Hey! I had a flashing smiley for 11 days then my period arrived a week early there and I usually have very regular periods so it was very strange for me, I think our bodies just play tricks on us sometimes lol! Keep testing yourself because I know someone who had flashing smileys until day 15 then they got their peak! 😊
That’s good to know that it’s still possible! I was wondering whether to keep testing or just stop for this cycle but I’ll keep going. And I’ll be prepared just in case my period arrives early 😅 thanks for responding! 😊

I ovulated day 18 last time (normally day 13) so it’s not too late, it could be round the corner! Also, I gave up on the clear blue smiley tests. Tried them along side cheap strip tests and found they flashed when my LH was still low (for about 5 days) and it went to a static smiley 2/3 days before I peaked so could have missed prime ovulation time. Strip tests are easier to see for comparisons and to actually determine when a rise may be happening. They’re worth a go and cheaper too! X
Oh that’s good to know! I did try the strip tests previously but I felt like they weren’t clear enough to confirm when I had peaked. I was using it alongside the Natural Cycles app and the app couldn’t determine that it was a peak result too so I started using digital ones to avoid confusion. Maybe the strip tests I had weren’t that great as I hadn’t tried another brand. Which ones do you use? 😊

I just used Wandfo from Amazon. There isn’t a designated app but just gauged it each day to determine if the line looked dark enough or was seemingly getting darker. You could probably used them alongside other apps though! X
thank you. I’ll give them a go and hopefully they’re better than the other ones I’d used.
thank you. I’ll give that app a go 😊
