Constipation

This is soo horrible, does anyone have any advice on what to take that won’t give terrible stomach pains I took senna once and I was crying all night with stomach ache
Laxido I will throw up the moment it touches my lips.
I up my fibre it doesn’t help
I drink lots of water, fruit etc

I just want something to take every few days that is soft on the tummy 🙁

Any advice please even thought about stopping the multivitamins to see if that helps

I totally feel this- it’s horrific!! I went to the pharmacy to get something that they prescribed. I’ve since really focused on diet and managed to not take anything now but I’ve had to commit to it every day to ensure everything goes as it should x

I take fybregel when I’m constipated and it helps

Fybogel and glycerine suppositories. Had it entire pregnancy due to medication 😩

Movicol.

Lactulose is safe in pregnancy. I dont think senna is because of the contraction of the muscle it causes so it's best avoided

Take prunes

I've had the same issue and my mum swears by chia seeds. So I've been having that everyday. Just a teaspoon in a small water bottle, I tend to put a bit of squash just to help me down it. I swear by it, I've not been constipated since.

I've got the fybogel chewable tablets which do help when I remember to take them! It's been so bad I've now got haemorrhoids. All the remedies for everything is coming in the tesco delivery tomorrow! I feel sorry for the driver!

If you don’t like prunes/fybogel - 2 kiwifruit a day just as effective
