Why do some people get an overhang and others don’t?
I understand genetics etc but when I’ve seen peoples pics in the 24 hours after surgery you can almost tell if there’s gonna be one

I'm not sure but maybe something to do with how much belly fat there was at the time of the csection? I had a C-section 6 weeks ago and I'm larger so I knew I would get an overhang, I wasn't wrong but it's gone down significantly since the surgery so a lot of it was definitely swelling. I'm not too bothered about it to be honest, my body did an amazing thing carrying my baby all those months so I'm proud of what it's achieved if anything, overhang and all! X
