Hand foot and mouth 🤦🏻♀️
Has anyone experienced this virus? I think my LO is coming down with it. He's just started nursery (done 2 days) and is now poorly! Is it going to be as horrendous as I'm expecting it to be? He's always been a terrible sleeper and it's only worse when he's poorly 🙃😅 Any tips would be great!

What are his symptoms? So I know what to look out for x
@Daisy he's started with a runny nose and a cough, then he's had a fever with loads of little red spots all over which are now going bigger with a red ring outside and a white middle bit. Hopefully your LO doesn't get it 🤞🏻 xx
aw your poor LO that looks so sore for him! Did it clear up completely, I'm worried about it scarring.
10 days is a long time!! How did you manage it with work?
He managed some weetabix mixed with Yoghurt for breakfast, but I think I'll try and keep it fairly smooth for the next few days for him.
How are you guys doing now you are through the other side? Xx
they are still a little bit there (only 3 left) at the moment, but I’m hoping next few days they will completely go!
I know I was so worried about that too!
I ended up having to take 3 days off as annual leave as I work part time but he started being poorly on my days off then by time weekend came back around he could go back to nursery on my working day.
My friends nursery allow them to go in, mine didn’t unfortunately!
Yeah he loves fruit but it was too much for his blisters!
He is eating soooo much atm making up I think for when he wasn’t lol xx
My baby slept the same, she didn’t have any mouth sores that I could see but she didn’t eat much food so we just upped her milk again. Hope he’s not too ill with it x
@Danielle glad they are almost all gone. Hopefully the last 3 won't be too long in going. I wasn't sure if it would scar like chicken pox can.
That's not so bad I guess, but not something you want to use AL for!!
I think he can go in once it's starting to heal, I need to check tomorrow. It's a shame they can't go if they feel OK as it's where they picked it up in the first place 🤣

@Sarah That's good she didn't have any obvious mouth ulcers. It can't be much fun for them can it?
My LO is BF so just going by what he wants and trying to offer snacks like cucumber to help.
