Hey everyone I’m so nervous as I’m being induced later today and iv looked it up but not 100% sure about the process I’m being induced as my waters broke yesterday at 12 and if labour doesn’t start on it’s own it’s risk of infection as it’s all a last minute decision I haven’t really looked it up much, just wanted to know how they induce you and any positive story’s other mumma have about being induced. Also I’m already having contractions very painful ones but I’m only 1cm dilated.
Thank you In advance I’m so nervous and frankly abit scared. X

What ever happens it’s all worth it🥰

I had the hormone drip- everything affects everyone differently. Being nervous is always gunna happen but you’ve just got remember that you’ll be seeing your child soon and all that pain and worry just disappears. X

I was given the hormonal drip to start contractions and I can honestly say there is nothing to worry about. I had a very positive experience. Everyone's birthing experience will be different but you'll be surprised how strong you will be before/during/after. Its all worth it in the end x

It is impossible to give informed consent if you do not know what you are consenting to. It would be beneficial to explain to the midwife that you are nervous and that it would really help to fully understand and be clear of the process and steps. It is literally their job to keep you informed and happy. Every hospital/ trust is different and may have a different method of induction. You deserve to, and have a right to, know what procedure the medical team are going to initiate on your pregnant body. You will likely feel much better once you have a clearer idea of what their plan is. Best of luck; you have got this. 🥰❤️💪🏽
