My daughter has come down with a cough and runny nose lastnight but she doesn't take medication she hates it so does anyone have any home remedies or anything I can do to help with the cough b4 it gets worst she's 16 months old any tips would help

Honey is great if she’ll take that! I give my girl a teaspoon or two a day when she’s sick- my dad has bees so the honey is from around here (local is best if you can!) but it really helps her. Asda do a Vapor bath too which helps with the stuffiness/ runny nose and also those calpol plugs are really good! Loads of vitamin c rich foods too x
can you add the honey with water or just straight of the spoon? and I have the vapour bath I Nedd to go out and buy more plug ins today x
yes you can add it to anything! Even her milk if she still has it. Amazon had a good deal on the refills and plugs the last time I looked a couple of weeks ago x

I wish my daughter liked medicine it's a nightmare when she's ill I hate it and alot of people swear by doing that I tried it all last night she was ill but I didn't think it worked but all babies are different I guess maybe just keep trying for a few more days and hope for the best and I feel for you being ill and pregnant it's horrible I'm not well either and my son has a cold now she does hopefully you feel better soon
we sit in the bathroom with the shower on hot and eucalyptus oil in a bucket of hot water, the steam helps loosen the mucus.
I also have a diffuser going with the oil in the bedroom
my shower is crap tbf lol she's got a runny nose but it's more the none shop cough that's a problem because she can't sleep because she is just coughing all the time which is making her very upset and cry because she's so tired 😪
have you tried a pillow, having her head slightly raised while sleeping helps the post nasal drip going to the chest so they can breathe better, shame we also have a cold here we just got back from turkey and brought the cold home with us 🙄
Yes she's coughing lying down and tilted up so she's exhausted she just wants to have a sleep the cough keeps waking her up so she's very grumpy bless her and oh really think everyone is full of cold it's going through everyone In my house aswell 😔😭😭
