Green snotty nose

My little girl has been ill the past week with similar symptoms - her cough started to sound like a barking seal and she is struggling with sleep. I took her to doctors and they said she has croup. Got some steroids last Wednesday to help but she’s still struggling. It’s good his fluids are up and I’d recommend checking in with a Dr (and record him coughing so they can assess it) and if you get more worried today it wouldn’t hurt to call 111 for peace of mind. Hope he feels better soon x

My little girl is the same and the doctors said it’s a viral infection and won’t give her anything for it, even though she’s barely eating, drinking and being sick.. we called 111 twice now and the first time we sat in a&e for 6 hours to be told she had a bug and then again yesterday seen a gp to be told it’s viral 🤷🏼‍♀️ hope your little one gets better soon! X

Does your little one go to nursery? Our little girl has had a constant runny nose sonde starting 6 weeks ago. She goes through stages of getting better but at the worst she's coughing all night due to the phlegm and now she's got a tummy bug (projectile vom, really is fun) but for the nose and breathing easier I found the calpol plug in helped a lot! X

😔 it's shit. Can't sugarcoat it. But hopefully there's an end in sight 😂😂 because I'm now ill and I'm not a fan of sharing this malarkey x

@Jess yep he started nursery last week 🤣😫🙈 oh the joys.. I guess this is where it all starts now. He was never sick before so I am really lost and worried about everything xx
