Exactly the same problem here, my little one also has curls and her hair always looks like she's just rocked out of bed, but she won't let me style it 😭
I put a bow in her hair today and it looked half decent and not a mess until she ripped it out and replaced it with a backwards facing cap 🤣

Following as I'm going to have this issue one day 😂 xx

I have this problem too, if I put a wee bobble or clip in she pulls it straight out! I’ve been using the tiny clear plastic bobbles and wrap them about 5 times so she can’t get them out 🫣 that’s the only thing that works!

What are they like to take out? Do they pull?xx

no probs! Genuinely the only thing that works, and I can’t leave her hair down as it’s so long it covers her face and she looks like a scarecrow 😂

I find them no trouble to just untwist and get out - can’t pull them though as think they would pull her hair. The ones I got on Amazon came with a wee tool to cut them off and I saw online somewhere that rubbing a tiny bit of oil on them makes them snap 😊

Just tried the clear elastics, I got some from Claire’s. she pulled it straight out, maybe need to get it tighter haha!🤦🏻‍♀️ xx

Little elastics..my daughter would pull everything out but after using the elastics I can now put standard hairbands in

Honest answer - I don’t 😂 there’s only one hairstyles she’ll tolerate right now which is the classic pineapple on top of the head 😂 but that’s fine, it keeps it out her eyes which is my main goal. I’ve tried cute bunches etc but she does seem irritated by them. I’m wondering if because her hair is still fine it genuinely irritates her x
