I'm sure when I did a starting solids class they said babies can have filtered water (e.g. from brita filter) as long as it wasn't from the fridge. Can anyone confirm this or should we still be giving cooled boiled water? I can't see this anywhere in the slides/my notes.Thank you.

Tap water is fine where I am (Scotland). Might differ depending on area? Unsure.

Water only needs to be boiled before baby is six months. Room temperature is ideal and either tap or filtered is fine.

Room temperature water that is filtered is fine for baby.

I use the prep machine and put it in the fridge after, she wont drink water boiled from the kettle
