Relationship advice
So i think im self-sabotizing/sabotaging my relationship.
I was watching a show with my bf and there was a gorgeous woman in the show, I told my bf sorry that I dont look like her.
His response was that he doesnt care how I look. I'm not sure why that answer upset me. If he would have said that he loved me just the way I am than I wouldnt be upset.
He never says im beautiful. I dont feel attractive. And I wish I didnt care.
How can I stop being upset about this ?

Saying he doesn’t care how you look is just another way of saying he loves you the way you are. I think you might be being a little bit sensitive, men aren’t always as eloquent with their words as we would like them to be 😂 sounds like he’s saying he loves you for you and that is what matters ☺️
thanks for that perpective :) I took it maybe the wrong way like he didnt care how i looked because he just didnt care about me
Comparing yourself to others is a futile exercise and only going to make you feel bad about yourself if you're already feeling low
It's all about your mindset, if you see a beautiful woman you can think wow she's beautiful but end the thought there. Beauty also isn't everything
It’s so easy to take things the wrong way, especially if you’re feeling a little insecure in yourself. Like others have said, there’s beauty in everything, comparing yourself to others is a slippery slope. I look like crap compared to these instagram models 😂 but I don’t care because I’m happy in myself and my partner loves me the way I am ☺️ Maybe treat yourself to a little pamper day or something to give yourself a boost ☺️ also remember a lot of what we see on tv and online is so photoshopped and altered, they don’t even look like that! X
Yeah you are sabotaging and looking for a fight/argument. Have you tried therapy for low self esteem? I had it a few years ago and it was amazing for me.
Also no one actually looks like that! It’s all makeup hair tailored clothes Zx
