Private room at Watford

They don’t have private rooms, however if you stay longer than one day they will move you in a private room. I give birth in may and I stayed 4 days, so I was moved in one of those rooms.
But there is another place, if you’re low risk and you want to give birth with midwife’s only, you can do that on Alexandra birth centre and they have private rooms with toilet and shower there .

I only got moved to a private room as my daughter needed treatment so as to not interrupt others. That was day 3 to day 6

Alexandra birthing centre are private rooms with en suite. Not sure how long they let you stay normally but in Feb 22 I was the only person on the entire ward so had the room my entire stay!

I was so keen on a private room before I had my baby but in the end when I got there I actually preferred being in the shared room because i knew I wouldn’t be forgotten 😂 I was also told they were reserved for Covid patients and/or specific circumstances
