Fever of 39.9/40 with no other symptoms
Does anyone know if it’s more of a worry if they have a high fever with no other symptoms? She’s been at her nanas and I didn’t send any calpol or temperature gauge with her so I’ve only just given her calpol when she got home. I’ve just googled online and it says if they have a fever with no other symptoms for 24 hours or more to call a doctor. Wondered if anyone else has experienced this and whether it was something viral or something else

Mine had this literally 2 days ago..... we kept her in nappy only and monitored her all night.... it lasted 12 hours and then completely went away and 2 molars popped out...... but I'd say go with your gut xx
It’s coming down the temp with calpol it’s 38.5 now and she seems to have regained some energy and is back smiling and walking about. She’s gone bed now but it’s a lot cooler tonight. It’s 19.6 degrees in her room so worried about her being cold
My lo had this and he was fine after two days. It’s the body getting rid of something. If worries seek medical attention. It’s a good sign it’s coming down though 😊
