I was originally going to formula feed but my baby latches so well, it has made me rethink and I would like to carry on breastfeeding if possible. I am really unprepared because I've done little research on pumps ect but can I please get some recommendations for nipple creams? She feeds better out of my right breast and although I've been alternating, my poor nipple is getting a little tender!

I’m not sure if you’ve ready about breastfeeding if you were planning on formula feeding- but the early days feel so long and tiring especially with cluster feeding. Gotta remind yourself cluster feeding does not mean your baby isn’t being fed enough. It’s your baby helping your supply regulate. You’re gonna do amazing. Xx

I agree with this one, definitely worth the price!!!

My lactation consultant told me to just use high quality olive oil instead of nipple cream and it worked really well! Less ingredients means baby is less likely to have an adverse reaction to anything :)

I use Earth Mama nipple butter and it’s wonderful. Totally clean and safe for baby, and it works (I apply once right before bed now, though I used more frequently when my LO was brand new and cluster feeding). If you use the Silverettes, just remember nothing on the nipple (except breastmilk, if you want). You lose the benefits/soothing of the silver if you put on a butter/salve underneath. One or the other.
