Hi all!
My nearly 4 week old has been fighting sleep for the last few days. Started with her doing this at night and now does it during the day too. On top of that, once we get her to fall asleep, we try and move her in to the moses basket and she wakes up within minutes (even if she is on a deep sleep). She has also started waking every 2 hours at night. The only way we are able to get her to sleep is if we let her sleep on us.
Any suggestions on what to do? Has anyone Benn through similar and If so, how did you move past it?
All of this is making ne feel slightly deflated.
Any advice welcome x

5 weeks tomorrow and currently in the same boat, eating 4oz every 2 hours and fighting sleep, we got this mama 🫣🤟🏼

Not at 4 weeks but it’s happening to us at 6! This too shall pass. Zen out or zone out!

2 hours ever night normal until u pass the 8 weeks mark, am at 10 weeks mines starting to sleep longer. Try setting a sleep routine same time same thing, in the evening. Once she asleep try putting bum down first, then having one of ur hands on her chest, slowly put her arms back. During the day do the same thing by putting her down. She might not like the moses basket, try sleeping elsewhere. I find that they need the same warmth to stay asleep. I sometimes put my robe next to her as she can sense my smell as she so tiny they still depend on you for comfort. Soon grow out of it.

formula, but she’s lactose intolerant so it’s a special milk from the GP

For the day naps, recommend using a sling/baby carrier. They sleep longer and helps you get chores around the house done!
